Meeting Thomas Nabbs from youth sports charity 'The Waterboy'

Thomas Nabbs comes from a whānau where a strong connection to his tupuna provided him a sense of self and helped guide him through his life.  As someone who had benefitted from both a strong sense of whānau connection and access to sport in his youth, Thomas committed himself to creating a charity that would provide these same environments and opportunities for rangatahi that were born to envieronments where these pillars of connection and support were missing. His charity, 'The Waterboy' aims to epower rangatahi and set them on a journey to rediscover who they are, what they can achieve and to shift societal change breaking generational cycles of inerquity.
